Mother Mary Martin is the foundress of the Medical Missionaries of Mary. She spent some time before having her order approved in Glenstal Abbey, working and receiving spiritual advice from the Fathers.
Much of her correspondence from this time is preserved in our archives, and is a valuable resource to historians of Women’s religious congregations.
