Your Excellency,
I received to-day with grateful thanks your letter enclosing Father's Dominic's letter to you on "Fiat". The reasons given by his Lordship to Fr. Dominic are exactly as he gave to Dominic Lebbe on our interview. I am forwarding on a copy as confidential matter to Dom Lebbe. By post to-day, It is only a further proof of God's will for me and the necessity of going ahead with greater love and zeal acting in all matters according to your directions and advice for the erection of M.M.M. all the refusals were for this end, but I did not decide and moving a very excellency and His Ultimate Glory.

I shall have to ask your Excellency in your great charity to make all the arrangements with the Sacred Congregation of Fide and later on with the S. C. of Religious for us and to instruct me in what ever procedures may be I should take at each stap, as I am absolutely ignorant of all such matters.
I shall await Fr Priors return at the end of the month meet him in town and have an interview with you. Then I must set about arranging to find a staff to run here according to Fr. Priors wishes, in the meantime I am on the look out for a house in

You remember Father Kelly S.J. who originally asked me to go to see your Excellency, I wrote to him telling him of your suggestion and advice, telling him I and My Companions wished to follow it even if we received an answer from his Lordship with "Yes" unless you advises me otherwise, he is very pleased with the decision we have come to for the erection of M.M.M. The vocations are coming and will come but they must be on the spot. Father elly has promised to help me more than ever with vocations and in anyway he can say also the Father's herefathers given by his Portage.
