The Steam Ship owners will not undertake the care or custody of property after being landed from their and expense of Senders or Consignees. The Steamer Agent will, if practical, place under cover, in the Dock Stores, or elsewhere, such as any landing or exposure to weather outside—but if the Goods so stored are not removed within 48 hours after arrival they will be subject to any one Halfpenny per cubic foot, with a minimum charge of 6d. per consignment for every week or portion of a week they remain in acting.
