Seing a feast of bus dudy, I think she will be a grand vocation & I think she will have another following her soon - All these things are in foeh Lands as we are ourselves - Miss Moynards sister is with us, she is a run school girl she & Vencent Marray want for a great roots yesterday morning. Your Excellency, The suggestion and advice you gave me on Wednesday as regards the procedure for the formation and erection of M.M.M. which I am anxious to follow, changes entirely the idea we had when we asked permission from His Lordship the Bishop of Cork to settle in his diocese. Would it not be wiser and more considerate towards His Lordship to inform him at once that we would like to withdraw our petition- I should be glad to know whether you think this should be done at once and by whom. There is also the suggestion of the procedure suggested by the Sacred Congregation of the Propaganda in His Emancipation's letter to Dom Lebe The step we propose to take would be a departure from this. I should be very grateful to you if you would advise me, as to the manner in which the S.C. of Propaganda should be informed of our new plans. You will be pleased to hear, that to-day I received a proof of the intervention of Divine Providence in our regard, when a person who wishes to remain anonymous range me up on the phone, to say that in two years time a sum of £900 would become available for the purpose of M.M.M. I am returning to Glenstal this evening, the Rev. Prior is leaving on Monday for Belgium on his return and when I have informed him and all the subjects of M.M.M. as to our decision I will come up to Dublin and will decuss all plans within you, hoping for a continuance of your most kind and valuable advice and guidance. Let me hasten to say in reply that, pending some reply from the Bishop of Cork, I do not think it expedent to inform him that you wish to withdraw your petition. Such an apparent Votle face would not be easy to explain by letter. For the same reason I doubt if it would be well to write to Propaganda again, at least until they have sent a reply to the question I sent to Rome at your request, regarding a mistress of Novices etc. MARVAL In the meantime, I congratulate you on the Providential offer by telephone of help for the purpose of the M.M.M. I trust that your aim is no longer giving you much trouble and that, after the return of The Prior from Belgium, I may have the pleasure of seeing you in Dublin.
