I wish to write to you, as I heard, a short time ago, that Pr. Joseph's Pri. only has been founded by Don Mannion whom is senerated immensely in our congregation. I have been told about Glenstead by rev. Father Lubrise Collette, from Mont. Lesan, and by mother M. Benedicte Loganort, from Pr. Decidia's Abbey, Ryde, who knew formerly Don Beda Rebbe. These two informations seem to me an act of providence, as we were praying, by Don Chumba's intercellion, to obtain, if it is God's will, a foundation in Ireland.
So, with the recommendation of Father Lubrise and Madame L'Abbesse, who have both been so kind to introduce my request, I save, reverend Father Perin, ask you a very great service: it is, if you could, perhaps by the relations you have in the Grish clergy, obtain, for us, a Bishop's consent to settle in his Siccese.

That is all that we need. Of course, we know quite well that such a lot of empregatious have asked to come in Ireland, during these last years, that the hierarchy has to restrain this invasion.
But we just want to have a small community of six or eight sisters, we only wish to pursue and take care of our people and I don't think it will never be success of them for these ones.
Our very simple mission amongst them is well exposed in this short summary I send you taken out of the well known branch now "A vie Spirituelle" November 1925. A few lines I noted on pages 12 to 18, will inform you about it much better than I could so.
I ask you how on, respectfully father Mign to Dis. But you will this solicitation, but I have such a great confidence in your dear down Marrian that I am sure his sons will so something, if they can't, to help the sewants of the Bor.
A last request is that, preferably, we wish to settle in Dublin, as may be our sisters' family resides there, it would help us so much.
But the first step on our way to Ireland is the permission of his hordship the Bishop, and by ourselves, we shall never be able to so it.

Dear Mother Ignace,
I received your kind letter and brochure, also the recommendations of Lady Abbess of St. Cecilia's, Ryde and of Dom Ambroise Collette of Mont-Cesar, for your inquiry about the possibility of making a foundation of the Servants of the Poor in Ireland.
As you say yourself, the initial difficulties are enormous, as there are so many religious Orders in Ireland, and in Dublin particularly. In addition, there is not one city in our own diocese of Cashel, only some large towns, and vast rural areas. We are very far from Dublin (about 120 miles) right in the heart of the country.
I shall consult the Council here to know if is opportune to make further inquiries, and shall write to you then.
In the meantime please be assured of my prayers for your work among the poor.
